Wow! So many comments to this post :) I should have known, since so many of us love Anne. I'm glad it inspired a few of you, though really it was more of a pep talk for myself.

Karlene, So sorry I missed the blogging babes luncheon---again. I'm really not anti-social . . . well except for that thing where I'm a writer and therefore spend large quantities of time alone staring at the computer screen. Which is what I've been doing all week. More blood, sweat and tears for one final chance with my publisher. And with my dear husband running our home so I could write, I couldn't exactly tell him I needed a couple of hours off to do lunch. Here's hoping for next time!

And hoping all the rest of you hang in there with rewrites, rejections, and the like. If you're really a writer, you know it's something you can't turn off, and none of those things has the power to keep you down for too long.

This is great advice, Michele, and so very true. I need to watch Anne again. I love her fire and could use a little of my own. I'm so sorry for the rewrite suggestion--do you need help? My schedule has freed up a great deal and I could squeeze in an edit if it would be helpful. Best of luck--and congrats on the bathroom. The next time you need a project, I've got a few :-)
